Mario Kart Italia is in no way affiliated with Nintendo, Nintendo Italia, or Mario Kart in any legally binding way. The website was born out of the willingness of the Italian Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe communities in joining forces to moderate the leaderboards for their own game, which have been operated on a voluntary basis for several years.
